Thanks for the invitation to introduce myself. My name is Ken Weymouth, born in Maine and I now live in Wisconsin. I am very new at this rod building stuff. I have been lurking for about 1 ½ years on this and other forums. Started refinishing some no names and a couple of Heddons. I have just completed my first rod, a 7512 Dickerson taper and I want to say it would not have been possible without this forum and you folks. The quantity and quality of the information is priceless. As for rod making, I have never tackled anything that gave me so many opportunities along the way to screw it up! But I do like it and if you permit me I would like to stick around. I look forward to meeting you folks at 2011 gatherings. I will bring some of my work if you promise not to laugh to loud!
